Organise your own event

Find out how to organise a charity event for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

If you want to plan a charity event to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, you'll find support and resources here to help you get going. If you'd like to organise an event that isn't listed here, we'd love to hear about it and support you if we can.

Get inspired

Before getting started, you can find some inspiration for fundraising events by having a look at our A-Z of fundraising ideas. From cake bakes to casino nights, you can find any advice and tips you might need in organising your event.

Register your event

You can also register your event using our online form, to receive support from your regional Community Fundraiser as well as any additional fundraising materials.

Make it legal

Be sure to make your event safe and legal, and insured if necessary. Part of event safety is minimising the risk of cross-infection between people with cystic fibrosis, so take a look at our cross-infection policy for events.

Fundraising resources

For downloadable sponsorship forms and other fundraising resources, visit our Supporter Resources page, or contact our Events Team on 0203 795 2176 to order.

Paying in funds

The easiest way to collect money is by online sponsorship. Simply go to Virgin Money Giving to set up your own online fundraising page. Once you're up and running you can email the link to your family, friends and colleagues, and all donations will be sent to us automatically.

See our Virgin Money Giving Page.

For fundraising events, you can also find details on how to pay us in funds.

Photograph your event

Finally, make sure to snap plenty of photos of your event! Check out our tips and tricks on how to photograph your event.
